2005-10-05 [Elisha Kelly]: hee hee, If I was inclined to like women I would go for a more exotic looking girl like... hmmmm dunno, i'd have to thimk on it... anyways... I am teaching myself art, mainly cause I live to far away and it costs to much for lessons... and I like to do everything my way... not other peeps ways...
2005-10-05 [Kuruni]: yeah, i agree, but sometimes i wish someone could make a few things easier to make, i would not spend so much months trying to figure out how to do it. So i guess sometimews is nice to have a teacher for some things from time to time. I like it my way too, but i got stucked and i need to be better or else i wont be able to make a living by what i like to do the most and it will be only a hobby :(
2005-10-07 [Elisha Kelly]: Well I am telling my relatives after christmas I will do free family porttraits... I need the practice, and when I am better at it I will advertise around... make a little money, but I suppose unless I go to uni or move to the city art will ever only be a hobby for me :( shoulda went to uni after school, hee hee meet my man and fell pregnant instead... oops!
2005-10-08 [Kuruni]: err....sounds so much like my own story....
2005-10-12 [Elisha Kelly]: heehee, it is prolly pretty common... it is hard to study until the kiddies get older...
2005-10-13 [the Indigo]: your art is beautiful
2005-10-13 [Kuruni]: thank you :D
2005-10-13 [the Indigo]: no problem ^^
2005-10-18 [DelightfulDes]: Your artwork is so gorgeous my dear! I adore all of your Dawn fanart - so original. Your other characters are beautiful as well. You have a real talent for color :)
2005-10-18 [Kuruni]: Hehe! thanx! i'm trying to find more time to start drawing, almost almost...and my first drawing will be of a en elven girl or a fairy queen :D!!
2005-10-25 [m3_di]: Wow, so good. The last picture is so woot! Lovely! I've noticed that you need more training with the hands though
2005-10-25 [Kuruni]: absolutely. I've never taken classes, what i know is because i learn it myself, but i really need some classes, i need to be able to draw more easely and more quickly. believe me, i feel i'm stuck and have serious troubles when drawing. Thanx for the observation, hands, noses and feet are a royal pain in the a@#.
2005-10-25 [SpiralDragon]: Kuruni! I was curious... I'm taking a photo shop class and I'm really liking it! ^_^ I was wondering if I may color this picture on it? Please! ^_^
2005-10-25 [SpiralDragon]:
2005-10-25 [SpiralDragon]: I would love to color it for you! ^__^
2005-10-26 [Kuruni]: Sure, give it a try.
2005-10-26 [SpiralDragon]: Thankies Kuruni! *goes and colors*
2005-11-17 [Elisha Kelly]: when you draw hands... it is always good to keep them as minimal as possible, the more detail I try to put in them the crappier they look... and making fingers slighty pointy always looks good... when all else fails a mirror and your own hands does wonders :P. I think feet are really hard... specially when doing a front facing perspective...
2005-12-15 [eyes of frost]: Wow...your pictures are great. Alot better then mine. Lol. Keep going!
2005-12-15 [eyes of frost]: What is your favorate medium?
2005-12-16 [Kuruni]: Good question,5 years ago used to be colored pencils and markers but i got tired so i switched to watercolors wich simply got me and i'm still traped in it's magic. Now i want to try oil painting, but i believe watercolors to be my favs.
